In partnership with MOVE Moonee Valley City Council, Victoria University (VU) Polytechnic’s is offering our FREE ‘Skills and Careers: Your Way’ program to women in the City of Moonee Valley.
This 6-week program is designed to build skills awareness, networks, and a better understanding of career and training opportunities for women looking to get back into the workforce or change their career.
Facilitated by VU Polytechnic in collaboration with industry and community, the program aims to equip women to prepare for work and training opportunities.

Is this program right for me?
If you are a woman currently living in the City of Moonee Valley who is interested in learning how to get back into the workforce or education, wants to make a career change or connect with some new, like-minded people, then this program is right for you.
What will I need to be able to complete this program?
Depending on the current COVID-19 restrictions, this program will be delivered online with in-person sessions towards the end of the program at the Ascot Vale Leisure Centre.
You will need access to an internet connected device for the online sessions. For the best experience, we recommend that you use either a computer or tablet during the workshops to get the most from the experience.
This program is facilitated in English, and participants will need to feel comfortable undertaking a workshop in the English language.
What's the time commitment?
The program is run every Wednesday from 13 October - 17 November with sessions ranging from 1.5 - 4 hours long. Download the schedule (coming soon).
